The Organizations of Quirino General High School

There are many organizations in Quirino General High School (QGHS), like Youth for Environmental in School's Organizations (YES-O), Girl Scout of the Philippines (GSP), Red Cross Youth (RCY), Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), and many more. These clubs are important for QG because it helps the students to be more matured on their health and surroundings. Having these groups make the school a better place for students to transfer in to. Starting with YES-O or Youth for Environmental in School's Organizations, it’s a popular group in Quirino General High School that aids students by keeping the school clean. It's the most recognized club in the institution that practices the tidiness of its surroundings. Every Monday to Thursday, one of the members of YES-O announce that throwing garbage is harmful for the cleanliness of the school and that they also remind the learners to avoid leaving behind wastes around the campus.
Secondly, Girl Scout of the Philippines (GSP) is a big assistance for the women who studies at Quirino General High School. The group practices voluntarism which they work as a team to help in the welfare of the campus. Moreover, they are credited for their preparedness and readiness for the services they have done.

There’s also the Red Cross Youth (RCY) in Quirino General High School, this organization gives assistance to emergencies like injured students or teachers. The members of the group are also trained to be ready in case of urgent situations happening at the campus and to reduce the crisis of harmed learners. When there’s an event made, they prepare their first aid kits and a gallon water along with plastic cups. The purpose of this is to protect the life of the high schoolers, and also to the faculties & staff.
There isn’t a high school without the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), right? This institution is the highest governing body of all the students at QGHS, they make the rules of the school but before that, they will write a letter to the principal for what rules they’re going to change or make. This group consists of 9 members, they are different from the others who have more than 20 members. They are usually quiet when doing their work so we don’t have much information about what they are doing, but they help with the papers and the laws of the campus.

There are many more organizations in Quirino General High School that we didn’t tackle about, like TUQAR, a well-known band in QG, WATCH CLUB, brings back the the stolen things from students who lost it, and TINIG CHORALE, a choir, and many more! These groups make the campus stand out more for what they are achieving and making, this makes the other students proud of it. The purpose of all these is to show that the learners in QGHS like to help out for others to grow the love and excellence the school ever wanted.
