For junior high school students, QGHS offers Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) program, alongside a Special Program in the Arts (SPA), both designed to nurture young minds with a passion for science and creativity. This institution is also the only accredited secondary school among the 110 high schools in the region to provide an STE program, cementing its status as a leader in STEM education.

Senior high school students at QGHS can choose from four distinct strands: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS); Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM); and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL).
